We are officially in London! I've landed here for White Gallery, the U.K.'s bridal market, and cannot wait to see the new offerings from all our favorite British designers. Our first stop was Caroline Castigliano's stunning shop on Brompton Road. Castigliano's designs combine fashion, comfort, and an impeccable fit, and they avoid the standard heft of a big ball gown because she uses soft layers of tulle and silk organza.
My favorite look of hers? The perfect-fit trumpet pictured below that, through genius detachable details and add-ons, turns into four completely different gowns. Here's how: A detachable peplum paired with a belt combines glamour with a modern sophistication, a front facing shrug provides coverage with a high-neck illusion neckline, a beaded draped caplet evokes a vintage feel, and a lace peplum shirt can be worn post-wedding after you've sported it down the aisle (and lined it).
Love the top so much you would want it for your everyday wardrobe? Not to worry, it also comes in black.
