I’ve never met an Oscar de la Renta dress that I didn't love—the designer's ladylike silhouettes just get me every time. So I couldn't have been more excited when I spotted several wedding-worthy looks on the runway of his resort 2013 show. From a dramatic red ball gown to a glittering shift dress, these frocks can easily translate from the runway to your wedding day. Below are a few of my favorites, courtesy of Rachel Scroggins:
Red wedding gowns have been all the rage on bridal runways this year (see: Vera Wang, Romona Keveza, and even Oscar). The ruffles on this gown and a vibrant crimson color would add some serious drama to your wedding-day look.
This soft pink dress would be perfect for a garden party wedding. I love its demure neckline, intricate beading, and pink trim, which gives it just the right amount of color.
This exudes Old Hollywood glamour, from its opulent gilded embellishments to its elegant ball gown silhouette.
I love how the ombré paillettes on this shift make it sparkle. This sophisticated dress would pop against the backdrop of a chic urban venue.

Oh that blush-colored embellished gown is heavenly. Too bad I already have my dress!
