Lauren and William combined their love of art and New Orleans in their destination wedding last fall. Thanks to Lauren's many DIY projects, and help from loved ones, the extremely personalized wedding felt intimate even with 150 guests. To maximize everyone's time in the Crescent City, there was a cocktail hour at the Carousel Bar in the Monteleone Hotel two nights before the wedding. (Why not introduce everyone to a historic treasure when they're in town? And also sit at the rotating bar!)
Check out Austin Gros's photos in our gallery of Lauren and William's wedding and a small gallery of images of their wonderful stationery suite and various day-of paper elements, courtesy of stationer Maria Rolfsen of Tupelo Honey Design. You can see close-up details of the invite, escort cards (which were paired with beautiful, vintage hankies—perfect for a late-night parade), and calligraphy, and really get a taste of the lovely pieces incorporated in this art-filled day.
