Sizing Up A Location

Posted by

For the Real Weddings special issue, I was tasked with finding a location for our fashion story. I was looking for textured unfinished walls, gritty exposed brick, and visible wooden support beams. I found just the place to shoot: the Metropolitan Building in Long Island City, New York. This place is massive, with four floors that all cater to different backdrop needs. The best part? You can even host a wedding reception there! Below are some interior images of each floor in the building. Take a look...maybe it will work for your wedding!

  • WOW! What an amazing location for an epic wedding. I think I'll keep this in my memory bank for when my future man puts a ring on it.

    Thanks for the photos, Muzam!
