What a treat to spend a little time at the Douglas Hannant showroom to view his spring 2013 bridal collection. Hannant is know for experimentation with texture, volume, and color and this season was no different. A few of our favorite details from last season, including metallic Chantilly lace, popped up in new forms this season. Hannant also had fun with volume (see the white organza jacquard puff sleeve gown) and color (blue and white flowers; pink and white Ikat) and the effect was always romantic thanks to his skillful hand with couture dressmaking techniques. My favorite though was a long sleeve Chantilly lace gown with a silk bow belt.
