Of her spring 2013 inspiration, Mrs. Herrera says, "I had just seen the Cecil Beaton exhibit in London and was so taken with it that I wanted to design a collection based on the beauty he portrayed—the blacks, the whites, the fantasy of it all." She also says the collection is not about trends, but more about personal purpose. Each gown is designed with a specific woman in mind and each one is entirely unique. I would personally like to wear any and all of these gowns!

Mrs. Herrera says the right gown should make a bride feel confident and most of all beautiful. She says that, most of all, a wedding dress has to be personal so she accessorized the show with some of her own accessories. And as always the petticoat of every gown is embroidered with the bride's initials in blue, matching the grosgrain bow stitched into every waist. "I love the hidden details," she says. To complete these gorgeous gowns, the makeup was done by Kimberly Soane (for Bobbi Brown) and the hair was by Yann Varin (of Varin Salon). And last but not least, there were outrageously amazing hats by milliner Albertus Swanepoel.
