Thought You'd Never Try Nail Art?

Posted by

Neither did I, that is, until I came to the (rather obvious) realization that nail art can be exactly what you make it. Instead of using bold rainbow brights (they look fashion-forward on the runway, but might be clownish coming down the aisle, no?), choose subtle variations of neutral pink and nude shades to make your bachelorette, bridal shower, or wedding manicure soft, understated, and still full of personality.

Manicurist Kayo Higuchi-Crowell at Wei Lang Spa at Devachan Salon gave my nails delicate pink color and tipped them with a barely-there chevron pattern.

At Jin Soon salon, manicurist Sabina gave me a sophisticated nude ombré (where each nail is a little lighter than the next).

  • I love the dainty chevron pattern - just the perfect subtle detail for the modern bride's special day!

  • Kayo Higuchi-Crowell from Wei Lang Spa, Devanchan Salon : Here is something so magical and genuine that one can be moved a million miles in the future or the past...this can only be called art. Kayo Higuchi-Crowell, professional textile nail artist at Wei Lang, has created elegant bridal nail designs as subtle as listening to the whispers of sweet nothings.
