Your wedding is the day you've spent months planning, so take time to enjoy it! My husband and I had a welcome reception the night before the wedding and I would highly suggest doing the same. It was there that we were able to greet all of our guests, so that at our wedding we didn't have to worry about "making the rounds." We ate all the delicious food we planned, enjoyed the cake we picked out, drank our wine, and danced to our hearts’ content. But most importantly my husband and I were free to be in each other's company and share in the joy of the commitment we made!

Love this!!! Great advice! We did the same for our wedding; my only regret is not hiring a professional photographer to capture the event. It was intimate and so fun!
