I promise we're not on the look-at-the-cute-elderly-couple-getting-hitched beat. But. Look at the cute elderly couple getting hitched! Last week we watched a bride tie the knot on her 100th birthday. This time, the happy newlyweds are 95-year-old Lillian Hartley and her 98-year-old boo, Allen Marks.
Not only did the pair make it official on Leap Day, they also set a world record to boot, reports The Desert Sun. Turns out the Indio, California twosome broke a Guinness World Record for the oldest combined age of a couple on their wedding day (193 years, eight months, nine days).
Of their decision to marry after 18 years together—they first met at temple, when he complimented her dress (aww)—the bride said, "I don't know what will happen. I want to be together for all eternity, and I'm not taking any chances." Watch the video, grab a hankie, be inspired.
