Giving the Gift of Time
Posted by Melissa Colgan
Guten Morgen from day two of the Baselworld jewelry shows. Yesterday we saw a lot of amazing jewelry that would be perfect to wear on your wedding day, but today is all about watches. Watches are the number one gift a girl gives her groom. Check out some of the highlights from Tag Heuer, Longines, Tissot, and Rado in our gallery. Maybe one of these timepieces will be perfect for your man.
A new women's watch from Tag Heuer. The band is ergonomically designed and feels amazing on the wrist, and the diamond bezel is super elegant.
Cameron Diaz is Tag Heuer's new woman's ambassador. Here, she holds the watch from the previous slide.
I loved this one from Tag Heuer's Carrera collection for a groom's gift. The face is simple and elegant but still sporty and the deep blue leather band is super sharp.
This watch from Longines Les Grandes Classiques collection is something you would definitely wear forever. I love the super slim profile.
If your guy appreciates craftsmanship but doesn't necessarily want to wear a watch every day, a pocket watch like this one from Longines is perfect. He could keep it in his suit coat or display it on his desk.
I also like these sporty styles for men from Omega.
Deep blue faces, bands, and bezels are definitely a big trend. Here is a men's look from Omega.
Proof that a watch can be as elegant as any other piece of jewelry: diamond pave styles from Omega.
This style by Rado is actually ceramic! A nice, lightweight and durable option for men.
Loving these lacquered leather bands from Tissot. How cool is this cherry red style?
Loved this display of vintage styles from Tissot. The brand still uses them to inspire their new collections.
More pocket watches, these are from Tissot.
Danica Patrick and Tony Parker both collaborate with Tissot on watches. These are great if you are going on a high-action honeymoon.
