Ok, ok—while it's not exactly a necessity, a headphone splitter will definitely come in handy on your trip. My husband and I have one that we use to watch movies on the plane and listen to music on the beach (luckily, we happen to have the same taste). This one is super reasonable at just $15, and the heart shape is so sweet! What are some of your vacation essentials?

At first I'm like, "Oh cool!" but then I was like, "Wait a sec, we already have these!" We use them ALL THE TIME on the airplane to and from college (we live in Virginia, but go to school in Oklahoma). Another good thing to have for travel is noise-cancelling headphones, not just for listening to music, but to block out all the "traveling noises" and allow for some shut-eye. A playlist of favorite songs is a must, too.
