Yesterday I co-hosted an event with The Wedding Library at the beautiful New York Palace Hotel. There was an amazing turnout -- over 500 people attended! I started the day off on a panel of bridal experts that included celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss, gown designer Amsale, and Claudia Handlin of The Wedding Library, caterer Peter Callahan, baker Sylvia Weinstock, and florist Matthew Robbins. After the panel, all of the attendees were invited to visit the booths of over 100 top New York City wedding vendors. The event concluded with a fashion show by Kleinfeld Bridal. See photos of the event below, and check back later this week for more details and a behind-the-scenes peek.
1 The wonderful panel of wedding industry experts. From left: Caterer Peter Callahan, dress designer Amsale, Claudia Hanlin of The Wedding Library, event planner Mindy Weiss, myself, baker Sylvia Weinstock, and florist Matthew Robbins.
2 Tie Crafters, one of our favorite sources for custom accessories for the groom, presented some of their work.
5 Sandals Weddings by Martha Stewart provided brides with information on our exclusive destination wedding packages.
6 One Girl Cookies whipped up delicious sweets for the event including hazelnut and lemon cupcakes, vanilla meringues and petit fours. Owner Dawn Casale also signed copies of her new book.
7 Our contributing floral expert Matthew Robbins signed copies of his new book “Inspired Weddings” and showcased some of his amazing arrangements.
11 Nutritionist Keri Glassman, who is featured in the winter issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, shared some great advice with brides.
13 Anthony Logistics had a great kit full of skincare products for men appropriately called “Here Comes the Groomed" for the fiances in attendance.
15 These products from Say Cheese Paper Props would be a great addition to a photo booth for your wedding.
16 Guests enjoyed the photo booth provided by wedding photography company Love Images. Here they displayed some of their work.

Looks like so much fun being surrounded by all these talented people.
Wish I could be there.. Doing a makeover, eating tiny cupcakes while looking at beautiful wedding dresses. Perfect!
