Elizabeth Messina's New Book

Posted by

So 2012 is turning into quite a hot year for books. As you saw in our winter issue, on Darcy's editor's letter, there are new books from Peter Callahan, One Girl Cookies, Matthew Robbins, Randy Fenoli, and Martha herself. Another new edition to your ever-expanding library should be Elizabeth Messina's "The Luminous Portrait," which is available for pre-order now and debuts April 24th.

I have long been a fan of Elizabeth's work, and of her as a person, and after getting a sneak peek of this tome, I can say I'll be debating if this book ends up on my shelf or the coffee table. But I know for sure, it'll be mine come spring.

In the meantime, you can see Elizabeth's work in our winter issue (she photographed Jose and Joel's wedding) and online via Kathryn and Ryan's and Giovanna and Schulyer's weddings.

This book is aimed at photographers looking to take their best photos and work with natural light. But the photos are pretty enough that no matter who you are, you'll want to take a look.
