Holiday Gift Guide: What's On Shira's List

Posted by

Always one to covet practical luxuries, our Real Weddings editor, Shira Savada, shared some gifts she'd kill for this holiday season to keep her home and office space even more organized than it was in 2011...

Catbird Stack 'em Up Threadbare Rings, $34 each

If I could put everything from Catbird on my wish list I would. But these super skinny rings are at the top, because I think I need a collection of stackable rings for 2012 and this is going to be my starting point.

West Elm Gallery Frames, $9-$43

One of my New Year's resolutions? Print out photos! In this digital age, I usually just post them online or file them on my computer. But I'm going to to print them out in the new year and these frames from West Elm will make my plan that much easier to execute.

Epson LabelWorks LW-400 Label Printer, $50
I'm pretty organized but come late December, I get into purge mode and when the new year hits I like to be organized. Epson's new LabelWorks LW-400 would do just the trick. Tons of tape color/style options, symbols and fonts galore, and it saves things so you can go back months later and print the same label out again. Genius!

Moleskine Gourmet Gift Box Set, $60 and Travel Gift Box Set, $50
I've been coveting the travel box set and the gourmet box set since I saw a sneak peek at the gift show in August. What smart ways to remember where I travel and what great food and wine I come across.

  • Printing out photos, what a wonderful new year's resolution. There is an appreciation of a printed photo that is unmatched from that of a digital file, but you forget this when you haven't done it for a while, and you forget the photos...
