Classic Winter White Elegance

Posted by

Sometimes, with new clients, I'm so caught up in making every detail custom and unique that I find we all overlook the beauty in something classic, understated, and simply elegant. I found this recent wedding so refreshing with a classic palette of white, taupe, gold, and green. There were no wild, whimsical ideas and nothing thematic or too specific. The bride and groom had one request and that was to simply make the room beautiful and romantic without hitting anyone over the head with opulent decor.

Sometimes less really is more and in this case, the final result was still very lush, romantic and quite decadent. The white orchids, garden roses and hydrangea were arranged in classic silver vessels with simple candle decor to illuminate the setting. The table cloths featured an updated damask in a warm, taupe/mocha tone which provided the perfect base for the crisp white blooms.

Are you planning a winter wedding or looking for something classic and simply elegant? Let me know if I can help with ideas or please share some of your own design details! Happy Holidays!
