I'm delighted to share a few recent wedding details from one of the designers working on my wonderful team at Matthew Robbins Design. I'm lucky to have such great people working on every event we produce and Melissa Martin is one of our stars. She's a master crafter and loves anything DIY, and her own wedding was filled with details she spent many months and long nights perfecting.
Melissa is extremely sentimental and really wanted to incorporate a vintage brooch handed down from her grandmother into her bridal bouquet. She was so inspired by this one piece that she decided to ask her family and friends to each contribute a brooch so she could create an entire bouquet using all of these collectibles. Not only was the final result whimsical and beautiful but she now has an amazing object to cherish and share with future generations. She had so many contributions from family and friends, she decided to make a fabulous cake topper with the additional flowers after completing her bouquet.
I hope this inspires a few ideas for your own bouquet. Sometimes you don't need a single fresh flower to create something personal and unique. Are you crafting any great details for your wedding? Please share your ideas and inspiration!
