I've been on a movie kick the past few weeks, hunting down inspiration for our stories. Be it location, styling, fashion, or color ideas, there is such a wealth of material in film. Since most of us already know about the Hollywood versions (think Wedding Crashers and The Runaway Bride), here are three that I also found to be quite beautiful:
Father of the Bride (1950) with Spencer Tracy and Elizabeth Taylor (great fashion).
Sense and Sensibility (1995) with Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet and Hugh Grant (I love the style and details).
Monsoon Wedding (2001) by Mira Nair (It's shot in such a beautiful location).
