Rita Vinieris, designer of Rivini, was inspired after seeing the painting "Scene Galante" by Giovanni Boldini. "I wanted to recreate the ethereal aura of the moment by using organza, French lace, and feathers in a light way," said the designer. She accented the collection with tones of elderberry and fawn and black diamond crystals. The gowns were varied in style and extremely beautiful. What a terrific show!
1 The show was held at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. The models' entrance was so dramatic.
