I am in love with these paper flowers by Livia Cetti of The Green Vase. Livia is the most skilled florist I have ever met, and her level of observation and pure love of flowers shows in these beautifully detailed specimens. Of course, I also appreciate and usually recommend the real thing, but if you're ever in a situation where beautiful fresh blooms aren't available or hard to find, these are a lovely alternative.
For a destination wedding, I envision single blooms placed in glass bottles that are arranged casually down the center of a long table. If you're worried about the longevity of your blossoms, you can place these wilt-free ones in your hair or on your groom's lapel without fear they'll faint. And you saw how wonderful they worked as a cake decoration on the cover of our Summer issue! Use them on your sweet confection, or place one at each table setting as a favor.
