A friend of mine slipped into a gorgeous black evening gown for her reception, and it was so unexpected and chic that everyone literally gasped when she made her entrance. It got me thinking--what about changing into a navy dress after the ceremony, and making it your something blue? I so wish I'd done that at my own wedding! I would have gone with a silhouette like this one, below, from Badgley Mischka Platinum Label ($595). What do you think of the idea?

I love this idea- and can picture it being a hit with the prepsters out there.... Maybe if your bridesmaids had on dresses that had a navy sash it would be complimentary as well.

Ohhh I like the idea of matching to your bridesmaids dresses or sashes. Who doesn't love a sash?!
