Our last installment in this special peaches-and-cream series comes from Amy Osaba of Amy Osaba Event.Floral.Design. Her Atlanta-based company offers full design services (including flowers), and she really hit the ground running when introduced to our Summer issue's palette. Read on for how she and her crew interpreted it, and turned her vision into reality:
"Peaches are in no short supply this time of year in Georgia. And as we walked through our local market, we were instantly inspired by the natural gradient found in a fresh peach. We ran with this idea, creating several gradients of our own, using everything from fabric strips to sweet little ranunculus blooms to a lineup of yummy summer fruits. As for the setting, we wanted to create a romantic lounge in which a bride and her attendants could relax, sip cocktails, and add the finishing touches to their hair and makeup. Lavish and lovely, simple and sweet. And of course, all photographed in the gorgeous southern light of our studio space at Atlanta's best-kept secret -- The Goat Farm. Please enjoy!"
