I was visiting my mother yesterday, and as I was looking through her old albums, my heart skipped a beat -- I'd stumbled upon my parents' wedding photos.
Their wedding took place in the summer of 1968 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. My mother, having just arrived from Switzerland to settle in a new country with my father, wore a lace mini dress and held a sweet bouquet of jasmine and yellow roses. It was such a timeless and fashion-forward look, I can imagine a bride today still wearing this style.
How has your parents' wedding inspired you? Do you plan to incorporate something from their wedding into your special day?

How nice to see old photographs again. More and more people are using USB scanners to convert their old photos to electronic images. Raid your wardrobes!
