Beauty: A Scrub for Smooth Moves

Posted by

I'm not a huge fan of oily body scrubs that leave the bottom of my shower messy, but Aesop's brand-new Geranium Leaf Body Scrub actually squeezes out in a thick paste that doesn't cling to tile and tub surfaces. Still, it contains great calming and hydrating oils such as geranium, mandarin, and bergamot and uses a combo of pumice and bamboo stem to buff skin silky.

The day before your wedding, give your body a good once-over -- paying extra attention to rougher spots like your elbows, knees, and feet. Follow up with a great moisturizer (my current favorite is Fresh's new Seaberry Restorative Body Cream).

P.S. I love its apothecary packaging. Every time I use it, I feel like I've stumbled across a vintage beauty find.

How do you plan on prepping your skin for your wedding?

  • I LOVE Aesop products and actually used the Geranium Leaf scrub in the shower this morning. Every time I walk into an Aesop store I feel just that little bit spoiled. I also recommend their Rejuvenate Body Balm with vanilla and sandalwood - just divine!
