While I was walking to work this morning from my home in Brooklyn, I ran across this loving inscription written on a bridge:

Even though vandalizing public property is against the law (oh, graffiti!), what a beautiful idea for a marriage proposal! If the proposer was more socially conscious, maybe he or she could try this idea with chalk so it would easily wash or wipe off. Enjoy!

Wow! What an excellent proposal idea for sure.
I am wondering though what do you think would be the best approach of bringing out the ring if you decide to do this?
Maybe while you walk on the bridge wait for her to start reading the inscription and then as she turns around with a smile on her face the guy is already on his knees with the ring out.
