Expert Advice: Diane Wagner Designs

Posted by Naomi De Manana

I chatted with Diane Wagner of Diane Wagner Designs about brides and their wedding bouquet. Here, she gives us a bit of insight.

I love to focus on details and always urge brides to consider the bouquet as an accessory that expresses your style. Make one that matches your personality! This bouquet, with its intense colors and rich textures, was designed for an actress with a love of fabulous shoes! It's dramatic, but very soft and feminine.

  • I am getting married in a month and have yet to decide what I will carry down the aisle. While we have hired a professional to do our centerpieces, I and my bridesmaids are doing our own bouquets. My palette is sage green and white (not ivory, though some ivory would be fine). I have fallen in love with the natural, elongated shape and texture of the "Great Lengths" bouquet on page 206 of the Spring 2011 Martha Stewart Weddings and am wondering if there is a way to adapt
this look for a more formal wedding at the end of the summer in my color palette?

  • Very Nice. The color choice you have picked, sounds very elegant. Anything is possible, it's your day, and you can make it work.
