Real Weddings Follow-Up: Jen and Josh
Posted by Shira Savada
Love is in the air -- and in the backyard, in the case of Jen and Josh's sunny California wedding. The couple is featured in our current Spring issue, but we wanted to give you look at the days, weeks, and months leading up to their big day. Take a peek!

The bride's blush-pink dress was so delicate and feminine.
To test out the vellum bird garland, Jen hung it on the wall.
From their mix 'n' match tableware, here are a few that Jen and Josh collected.
Check out the completed invitation suite designed by the bride (she has her own stationery company called Jenny Pennywood).
The wedding-day menu, also designed by the bride, listed the organic and local fare.
Jen came up with multiple patterns for their table linens.
She also created multiple thank-you-note options.
It rained the night before the wedding, causing the couple to clear everything they'd set up in advance, but at least a rainbow followed.
All the linens had to be dried and ironed for a second time.
Jen and Josh wanted to include many succulents into their wedding decor.
Jen's friend Joanne tests the bird garland.
Jen and Josh set up an installation of family photos by the backyard's entrance.
Jen's sister wraps a cactus in some Jenny Pennywood-printed fabric the morning of the wedding.
Everyone pitched in with clean-up. Here, a couple of friends do dishes after the big day.
