Last September, we spent a few days in Mill Neck, New York shooting the Spring 2011 dress story in a gorgeous greenhouse.
Imagine a 15-passenger van filled with stylists, photographers, models, plants, and fine jewelry barreling along the BQE and out of the city with yours truly at the wheel. Our three-day adventure yielded beautiful results -- and lots of team bonding. Livia Cetti and Jo Donohoe of The Green Vase joined us for the shoot and transformed the empty greenhouse into a lush floral landscape.
That week, we also got our first real taste of winter -- everyone was bundled from head to toe. At one point, style director Kate Berry even had to lend one of her husband's winter coats to French photographer Bruno Ripoche, who didn't bring a warm one with him from Paris!
