The Wedding Party: Design Details

Posted by

I'm so excited to be working again with Darcy Miller and the team at Martha Stewart Weddings for The Wedding Library's Wedding Party at the Palace Hotel in New York City. I'll be creating many beautiful things for the Martha Stewart Weddings area, and I'll be on-site to answer questions and offer advice on wedding decor!

This year, I'm working with a chic and vibrant color palette pulled directly from the Winter issue's White and Orange story (it has silvery accents, too). The Creamsicle tones pair beautifully with the crisp white linens and dishes. It's quite the fresh and elegant spread.

If you want to soften the bright, citrusy palette, use muted versions of the bold orange and snowy hues. This bouquet, which I created several years ago for a story in Martha Stewart Weddings, comes across as delicate and whimsical because of its subtle shades.

Please stop by The Wedding Party, and bring all of your color palette questions!

  • You're stuff and collections are so beautiful and I can't wait to show my fiance the great stuff you have! She and I both just recently saw this movie called White Wedding and the type of feel from the film really inspired us for our wedding. If you haven't seen it you should check it out! Could give you some more great ideas! http://whiteweddingmovie.com/
