We get wedding submissions daily and with them, many photos of fabulous brides wearing amazing dresses. I love all the different gowns and seeing how they fit and flatter the wedding -- the location, the mood, the colors -- and the bride herself.
Recently, I realized that I'd seen one particular dress on a few brides (see above, it's quite a show-stopper!). Each time, it looked as if the gown had been specially made for that one lucky girl on her big day. The Oscar De La Renta number, from the Spring 2009 collection, worked for Kristina's woodsy Wyoming wedding, but it also beautifully fit a Florida church wedding of another bride. Its light-as-air ruffles were also spotted on a bride who wore it for her Caribbean beach destination wedding.
That sweetheart neckline, the full, textured skirt, and the cinched waist are really a potent combination! Another killer dress with a similar silhouette: the "Diane" dress by Vera Wang.
