A couple years ago, I met this charming New York photographer by the name of Robert Christian Malmberg, who was doing collodion prints at a popular flea market in Brooklyn. Collodion prints date back to the Civil War when a large format camera and a magical combination of chemicals, glass, and tin plates were used to photograph an image.
Later looking at his website, I was completely in awe to find how he captured modern results from this antique wet photo process. His wedding portraits evoke an era when photography was a luxury and a picture was a prized treasure passed down from one generation to another. For an additional fee, he can also provide you with an entourage of fashion professionals to help make your picture timeless.
Having trouble finding a photographer who specializes in collodion prints your area? Here are few more options: Keliy Anderson-Staley, Ray Bidegain, Andy and Angie Wood, Mark Sink, and Kristen Hatgi.

Hmmm, I've never seen or even heard of this sort of photography, but I'm not sure I like it. It's the sort of thing, IMO, that's a personal taste. I think most women want to look younger! heh
