Event Design: Cabo Destination, Wedding Part 3
Posted by Matthew Robbins
Today, I'm sharing more scenes, this time of the ceremony, from the wedding we recently designed in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, at the fabulous Capella Pedregal.
Mexico can be very warm, so we had to be careful when scheduling and installing the outdoor decor. I love using strong, bold blooms like orchids for warmer climates. Orchids hold up well in the heat, and they come in many colors and varieties!
1 Here I am putting last-minute touches on the bridal bouquet. Can you believe all of the flowers in our workshop?
2 You can see a few of the vibrant pink blooms already going up, with only more to come!
3 The amazing and talented Sherwin, who joined our team for this event, carefully places orchids on the ceremony structure.
4 The team works hard to get all of the flowers in place.
5 Orchids, orchids, and more orchids!
6 Josefina works on one of our ceremony arrangements. The ocean is the perfect backdrop!
7 Here I am with the lovely Jennifer Zabinsky, the wedding planner, enjoying a moment in the shade during the ceremony setup.
As the temperature drops in New York City, I'm dreaming of sunny Mexico!
