The second installment focusing on this week's metallic palette comes from Ashley Meaders, crafter, designer, and stylist extraordinaire.
We gave Ashley the challenge of creating a unique backdrop -- so long as it was metallic, of course.
The result? An easy DIY project to display vintage photos. Ashley laid heart-shaped stencils over copies of old family pictures and spray-painted to create "frames." These pics are a great way to add a personal and sentimental touch. The bold LOVE letters were cut from posterboard, covered in spray adhesive, and coated with glitter from Martha Stewart Crafts. Click through the gallery to see a step-by-step from start to fabulous finish.

P.S. Because we loved Ashley's creativity with the palette so much, we asked her to do one of her famous photobooth backdrops for our Bridal Market Party. You can see her and her handiwork in the gallery (take a peek at photo 26) of this blog post.
