We're continuing our week of metallic ideas by bringing you more shimmering ways to personalize your big day. Today is all about the tabletop we created for the show on Monday, which features ideas from our winter and fall issues. We mixed easy DIY projects and store-bought pieces to create a chic table for any occasion -- from the festive (holidays parties!) to the celebratory (your wedding!).
1 For our metallic table, we used Michael Wainwright "Palio" dinnerware in gold, platinum, and rose gold, big glitter rectangle placemats from kimseybert.com, a 5" shimmer star from stumpspirit.com to create an easy decorations for the napkin.
2 Here we used the same easy DIY candles from our fall color palette story with flowers from Matthew Robbins and this runner from David Stark for West Elm.

I would love to see a segment on making placemats, not necessarily fabric ones, but ones like the big glitter rectangle placements. I have square plates and would love to have some creative, seasonal-type placements that are handmade. Thanks
