I know your wedding is about you, but it’s also about your guests -- friends and family coming together and bonding to celebrate your happy union. When we were at Sandals Emerald Bay, our contest-winning couple Liz and Colin had the time of their lives, but they weren’t the only ones. Here’s what some of their guests had to say about their spectacular wedding weekend.
From Jeanie and Jim Wilks, Liz's stepmom and dad:
"The best thing about Liz and Colin's wedding, besides seeing my little girl marry the love of her life, was the comfort of it all. Having everything in one location gave our new extended family the opportunity to share experiences together in a place where there were no distractions to spoil our fun. The ceremony and reception were flawlessly executed, and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome.
Of course, it helped that the location was exquisite. The grounds were immaculate, the sun-soaked sugar sand beaches were breathtaking, the food was absolutely delicious, and our villa at the water's edge was heaven."
From Cary and Scout Solomon, friends of Liz and Colin:
"We were so happy to be at this wonderful, relaxing resort, where the staff was so friendly and eager to meet all of our needs and the accommodations were superb. Being here with our family and experiencing the beautiful beach ceremony together was unbelievable."
From Colin's dad, Ward:
"I liked having everything in one place. I took out the rushing around you experience at most weddings, and it gave me the opportunity to spend extended periods of time with and get closer to Liz's family. And the natural beauty of Sandals made it impossible to take a bad picture."
From Colin's brother, Chris:
"My favorite part of Liz and Colin's wedding was the dinner afterward. The food was excellent, the setting was great, and the detail that went into everything was really impressive. I also loved the convenience of having everything in one place (and not worrying about how to get home) and how secluded the location was."
