True story: Last weekend I was in Chicago O'Hare (returning to New York after my cousin's whirlwind wedding) with my sister, who was on a serious hunt for a breakfast sandwich. When we finally found the one place still serving breakfast, we were surprised to see that it came with French fries, which were packaged in the most charming little bag with the most unexpected, FANTASTIC typography. This instantly gave me a great idea for a wedding favor.
We frequently suggest using glassine bags because they come in so many sizes and look super sweet. Most people use them to package fruit or other sweets, as pictured in the cherry photo below. But I say, Why not give guests French fries? I think freshly made, piping hot frites would make a great to-go wedding favor, especially for a backyard barbecue affair! It would definitely be a crowd pleaser and could easily be tied to a wood-cut inspired invitation suite!
