When it comes to wedding palettes, it doesn't get any more elegant than classic black and white: a timeless tuxedo, a little black dress for bridesmaids, evocative black and white photos. It's simple and chic, as long as you do it in moderation. Black can be a hard color for food, so leave your cake a beautiful white masterpiece with a simple black ribbon edging the cake stand, like the one below. I'm also seeing some great wedding gowns with black touches, like the one from Vera Wang below. A small touch of black goes a very long way.
Is anyone going with a black and white color palette? Whatever you choose, I'd love to hear about it!

Yes!We are going with a black and white color palette, with touches of sapphire blue, for a September wedding. Black cocktail dresses for the bridesmaids with blue heels. I can't wait to put all the elements together for a sophisticated event!

YES! I love everything about this. I'll be doing long black bridesmaid dresses and then white flowers which include gerberas (with the dark center). It's in november. So elegant!
