Inspiration: Red and White

Posted by

When it comes to colors, red is pretty much tops. In fact, it's one of the oldest color names, it's the first to be seen in a rainbow, and it has the greatest emotional impact of all, at least in my mind. Often used to indicate love, red almost seems like the perfect choice for your big day.  Because it’s naturally a bold color, I love to use subtle hints of it in places where it pops, like the simple and elegant bouquets of ranunculus, dahlias, and zinnias that nest upon crisp white linen below, or in a white wedding cake that, when cut, shows a beautifully vibrant touch. A perfect shade of this crimson color can be used in countless fun and thoughtful ways. So go ahead--paint the town red!

How bold are you going for your lovely day?
