My newest color palette comes after a long weekend at home in Iowa, where the green countryside feels fresh and undoubtedly like summer. Paired with white and gold, in shades that range from a soft sage to daring emerald, green goes from country to chic in no time at all.
I love the unexpected sophistication of these colors together. Try a beautiful bundle of verdant parrot tulips and lady slipper orchids, and serve mini green candy apples and golden cupcakes for an after dinner treat. And add a playful pop of color on your feet. Shoes, my favorite thing in the entire world (you’ll probably always find them in my post), could go either way: glamorous gold satin slingbacks or a stunning green pair.
What color palette are you choosing for your wedding? And what do you think of green and gold?

I'm not a big fan of using gold, but I really love how it looks with green! I must have those green shoes...love them.
