Last week we were busy speculating about which dress the former First Daughter would choose, and now we have a clue. Word is she's narrowed down the designer field to Vera Wang, a surprising choice in some ways. On the one hand, evidence shows that if you're a celebrity, your wedding gown is pretty much bound to be designed by Vera (Jennifer Lopez, Ivanka Trump, and Jessica Simpson all walked down the aisle in Vera originals); on the other hand, we were all convinced the designer of choice would be Oscar de la Renta, a favorite of the bride's mother.
So let's throw out a few more guesses. Here are my picks from Vera's Spring 2011 collection (slides 5, 7, and 11).
