OK, it's time to come clean: I'm naturally drawn to all those rustic-chic weddings out there, but sometimes it's really refreshing to see a traditional ballroom affair done right. It's that undeniable romance of it all -- a big band playing in the background, the gorgeous gown, the glow of candles and crystal. In fact, it was the style that I fell in love with for my own wedding. So when we stumbled upon today's featured Style Me Pretty wedding, designed by Jeannie Savage of Details Details Events and captured by Victor C. Sizemore Photography, my heart swelled a little.
Held at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, California, the indoor wedding had all the intimacy and magic you could expect from a seaside affair, except it was tucked into a perfect ballroom, away from the storm that was brewing. Sunny from White Lilac draped the walls and kept the lighting soft and sweet. Soft ivory silk linens on the tables, accented with hyacinth, roses, tulips, hydrangeas, and orchids in a variety of mercury glass and silver vessels, made it that much more beautiful. And of course, there were lots and lots of candles. Little details like hot cocoa for the chill, flip flops for the feet, and mini desserts for the soul kept the wedding really personal...and fun! And stationery by Details a la Carte added an elegant touch.

LOVE this wedding, it is soo amazingly gorgeous. Never would have guessed that that was their Plan B ceremony!

Beautiful Wedding! Laguna Niguel is a great location in it's own right...but with the wedding on top of it...perfect!
