Bubbles and Buttercream

Posted by

Last week I attended an event that was aptly named "Bubbles and Buttercream." Afterall, it was a champagne and cake soiree.

Hosted by One Girl Cookies, the celebration boasted a spring-time palette and the most yummy cakes, made by Francina. I'm always a fan of anything red velvet, but there was one that mixed meringue, vanilla bean, and passion fruit curd that I'm pretty sure I dreamed about that night.

I loved how easily everything fit together and how great the cakes and decor would be in practically any color palette. Maybe this should be a weekly event...going one color at a time...and I'm the only invitee...

The very talented Jenna from Love, Jenna did all the calligraphed labels, and stunning arrangements by Blossom and Branch were placed throughout the bakery.

I think a Bubbles and Buttercream party would be great for just about any occasion, especially with a few well-placed details and great people to enjoy them all. But I certainly like it for a bridal shower, or as a great dessert bar for a wedding.

  • D' rather have teal. but this is nice for ' green ' weddings, though.
