Beauty: You tell me!

Posted by

By now, you've come to know that there isn't a subject I won't talk about when it comes to beauty. From guys, girls, and gifts to products, trends, and inspiration, the list goes on and on. But you're the brides, so you tell me: what do you want to read about? Now's your chance! Leave a comment for me with your specific requests, and I'll take it into consideration as I work on future posts.

PS: I can't post this without telling you about a slightly bizarre new mascara: Too-Faced Lashlight. I haven't tried it yet, but I'll let you know when I do -- have any of you? Supposedly, the formula contains "mini-mirrors" that reflect light and make lashes appear darker and fuller. And the wand contains a built-in LED light, which lets you zero in on each individual lash. Sounds gimmicky, but it could be great...stay tuned for my review. And in the meantime, try it out and let me know what you think!

  • I would love to see some how-to tutorials on updo hairstyles. I am interested in doing my own hair for my wedding but I I don't even know the basics to creating a low maintenance (yet still formal) hairstyle.

  • I would love to see tips on makeup that will last all day and look lovely in photographs!

  • 1. How to describe the look you want to your stylist/makeup artist so that you get the results you want.
    2.Hair extensions. (PLEASE!)
    3. Since most brides get their makeup done for the wedding, maybe something on looking glam at the RD?
    4. Best hairdo with your dress.

  • False lashes 101 please. I've never worn them, but probably will on my wedding day!

  • This might seem a little kooky, but I have a question about makeup for the men. Having worked in television, I know that men often need a little something to look their best on camera but I don't want my groom looking "made up"! I am just wondering what you think about this and if any specific products are appropriate to keep guys looking as "natural-but-better" in the photos as the ladies.

  • Wedding hair styles for short to mid-legnth hair. There is almost nothing out there on the subject. Thanks.
