I just had lunch with a friend of mine from college. Said friend is always doing the coolest things, whether it's breaking the Guinness World Record for the most high fives in one hour (really!) or embarking on the first ever "Un-Road Trip," (check out the intro from none other than Matt Lauer) in which he zigzags his way across the country using every form of transportation available — excluding a car, of course.
It got me thinking: How many of you couldn't choose just one honeymoon destination and are embarking on road trips of your own post nuptials? Now, I'm being very loose in my definition of road trip. For example, I went to Spain last fall and couldn't decide on just one city, so I flew into Barcelona, cabbed it from the airport to Sitges, took a train back to Barcelona, flew into Seville, then took a high-speed train to Madrid, at which point I flew home. Some thought it was way too much to do in one week, and in many ways they're right, but I got to see some of the countryside, which was sorely lacking in my Iberian city tour, and I loved the constant change of scenery.
I guess what I'm asking is: Have any of you chosen to visit multiple cities on your honeymoon? Which ones and how are you getting to each? And am I alone in thinking the journey between cities (or countries for that matter) is half the fun? Bonus question: Am I just a crazy person who just doesn't know how to relax?
