There's a lot to remember when it comes to budgeting your wedding, but don’t forget to account for wedding bands from the start. They're such an important investment (after all, you'll wear them every day), so make sure you leave some money for them. There are a couple of routes you can take. Some wedding rings are designed in a set, where the engagement ring actually fits into the band like a puzzle piece. This makes the decision very easy. You can also combine your engagement ring with a different style band. Some brides actually choose bands for their engagement ring and then stack on more in years to come. Or at least that’s the hope (that can get expensive!). Some brides actually wear their engagement ring and wedding band on different fingers. This is what I do. Since I loved my engagement ring so much and could not find a right fit for the band, I wear them separately. Here are a few I saw at the platinum Guild International Editor Preview Day.
How about you? How are you wearing your engagement and wedding rings — together or apart?
