Last week at New York's Tabletop Market, I got to check out all the new tableware of the season. I was inspired by these glasses from Seguso Viro and thought they would look so pretty holding a little plant or cut flowers.
Then I got to thinking: We've done this sort of thing at MSW in the past with cups and bowls, and they always looked gorgeous. It only took four mini cattleya blooms, which were part of a stem, to make such a big statement in the mini silver cup. The arrangement on the right was made in a bowl stacked on top of an upside down bowl to give it some height and appear to look like a compote.
I don't know about you, but I get sick of the same old vases on wedding tables. It's true you don't want to spend a fortune on a bunch for just one day, but you may be surprised to know that your rental companies do have options.
These are just some things I found online from Party Rental and Classic Party Rental. They're very inexpensive to rent as vases for flowers, AND you don't have to deal with them after the wedding!
