Here's a new take on something blue. Maybe it's my Cherokee Indian heritage, but I've always considered turquoise to be my favorite stone. There are so many variations, but for the most part it is usually set in sterling silver or strung as beaded necklaces and bracelets. Enter Elizabeth Showers, a talented jewelry designer who's known for her gorgeous use of gemstones. Her collection of turquoise is simply stunning. She takes turquoise to the next level with gorgeous settings, diamonds, gold bezels and beautifully polished stones.
In addition to her turquoise collection, Elizabeth also has a gorgeous new collection of faceted gemstone jewelry that is perfect for your big day or as bridesmaid gifts. I'll be writing another post about Elizabeth soon, so check back in to see her new designs. What's your favorite stone? Do you plan on making it a part of your bridal attire?

I would really like to incorporate "something blue" into my outfit like these blue earings, or a blue broach in my hair, or blue shoes. But I'm not incorporating blue into my color scheme at all (wine and green). Can I still wear blue or would that be strange?

I'm mad for turquoise! Love this Lee Angel necklace, too: http://somethingnewstyle.com/accessories/2009/02/beads-of-change/
