Oh, to be a crafter. Sadly, I don't have a DIY bone in my body (strange considering where I work), but I'm hoping that being surrounded by inspiring people here at MSW and our new neighbors at Martha Stewart Living will allow me to soak up their creative vibe—call it becoming crafty by osmosis. And now that the craft department's new space is just a few short steps down the hall, I can start right away! Here's a behind-the-scenes look.
This sunlit space is home to countless glitters, glues, papers, punches, and supplies of every kind. Things are still being unpacked and organized, so imagine how much more there will be in a few weeks!
People at MSL tend to organize things by color (as you can see with the paper and ribbons), which makes finding props and supplies for shoots much easier.
