NAVY, COBALT, and AQUA
Sophisticated, dreamy, and enchanting, a simple palette of blues—from warmer aquas to rich cobalts—can add elegance to your celebration. Whether it has a touch of sweetness, like the cake topper by Ann Wood (bottom right), or a sense of calm like the landscape shot by Beatriz DaCosta, this palette complements many sensibilities. Use it in small touches as your traditional “something blue,” or expand these accents into the palette for your day. How will you use blue on your special day?

Blue is lovely, and my favourite colour. It can be calm or exciting, soft or strong, feminine or masculine.
I plan to incorporate blue as much as I can without sending my fiance crazy! The invitation design (and carried over to all stationery) is lovely white paper with a medium blue swirl pattern on it, crisp and clean and uncluttered. I hope to dress my maid of honour in a shade of blue, and I might even have some cute blue slip-on shoes hiding under my wedding dress! Not sure about that one yet, though. I plan to use other colours in the decorations though, mostly in flowers I suppose.

I love sage green with yellow. I found two beautiful ring pillows at http://www.5eizen.etsy.com that uses these colours (sage green & yellow, emerald green with gold).
