Spot On

Posted by

Nothing seems to attract dirt and stains quite like the color white—the exact one most brides wear on their wedding days. In the fall issue of Martha Stewart Weddings (on newsstands now) we feature a terrific stain remover kit made by Madame Paulette that you can use to treat spots on the spot. The top New York City cleaner has tidied the dresses, both bridal and couture, of Melania Trump, Beyoncé Knowles, Sarah Jessica Parker, Eva Longoria, and many others.  For brides looking for a long-term solution, the company will pick up your dress anywhere within the country, clean, and restore it, returning your gown in an acid-free archival chamber.  In the meantime, this kit is small enough to keep in your bag during your reception, just in case your Uncle Louis’s canapé winds up on your dress before the first dance. Bonus: It makes a nice extra gift for bridesmaid. See our fall issue for a cute way to package it.

  • Madame Paulette made me look like a Super Star Wedding Planner last June.
My bride had to walk thru the servant’s staircase at the Marble House in Newport R.I. to escape being seen by her guests.
Unfortunately she got quite a bit of dirt on the side of her gown.
With tears rolling…. I came in with my wedding survival tool kit and nothing worked. Then I pulled out Madam Paulette sample kit. As the bride’s mother scrubbed with the # 3 packet, The Grooms mother said “Oh my dear you must send your dress to Madam Paulette after the wedding they are just the best.”
    As the dress was saved,
I told the family of Jackie Kennedy had a problem with her dress so she was just another Newport Society Bride!
The Grooms mother said to me
    "How did You Know...”?
And I said "This is what a planner does!
As she came down the aisle of the ”Cottage” she sparked….
    And so did the dress,
    All Thanks to Madam Paulette!

  • This is excellent and would be great for a photographer to carry to save the day!
