I recently popped into the Vera Wang flagship store in New York City to buy a wedding present for a friend and left with a beautiful silver tray, like the one by Vera Wang in the image below. A silver tray is a great item to put on your own registry. Once engaged, brides should choose two or three places with lots of varied home items and register right away. It'll make everyone's life a lot easier because friends will know exactly what to get for you, whether it's for your engagement or for your wedding. We provide a guide to registering in our Fall issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, on newsstands on October 1, 2007. For more on the latest gifts every bride should register for, tune in to my segment on the Today Show tomorrow during the 9:00 AM hour. I'll also be discussing registry ideas on the radio, Sirius channel 112, from 12:00-1:00 PM. I hope to hear from you!

Gorgeous! It reminds me of a winter wonderland.
I can't wait for the next issue of Martha Stewart Weddings! It is BY FAR THE BEST wedding magazine out there!

Hey Darcy, absolutely love the blog! I'm so excited about today's post, "Off to the Register". Can't wait to see the Fall Martha Stewart Wedding issue with the guide to registering.
I'm a recently engaged Bride2Be and a lover of tabletop. I recently posted about my own registry and would love it if you took a peak: http://toastandtables.blogspot.com/2007/07/registry-101-top-ten-things-you-should.html
